Taylor Lautner has officially entered a brand-new chapter of his life. The Twilight heartthrob has become a father for the first time, welcoming a baby girl with his wife, Tay Lautner.
The couple shared the happy news on September 23, revealing that their daughter had actually been born one week earlier, on September 16. They introduced her with an adorable first photo and revealed a name that carries a very personal connection to both parents.
Their little girl is named Lennon Taylor Lautner, although her parents have already given her the sweet nickname “Lenny.” In the photo, the newborn can be seen lying in a pink blanket while wearing a light-colored onesie. Beside her was a small embroidered sign displaying her name, complete with a teddy bear holding a balloon.
The baby’s middle name is particularly meaningful. Both Taylor and his wife share the first name Taylor, so they decided to pass that family name on to their daughter.
The couple first announced that they were expecting in March, posting maternity photos together with ultrasound pictures. At the time, Taylor jokingly asked, “What’s better than two Taylor Lautners?” The answer has now arrived — and there are officially three of them.
In June, the couple revealed that they were expecting a baby girl in an emotional video. Taylor had previously admitted that becoming a father was something he had dreamed about for years, and he was especially excited about the possibility of having a daughter.
Tay also documented parts of her pregnancy with fans. She spoke openly about the emotional changes she experienced and even shared some of the less glamorous sides of pregnancy, including changes to her body and the pressure she felt when comparing herself with other women.

The couple celebrated their growing family with a pink-themed baby shower on August 19. Tay later shared photos from the event and thanked influencer Jaclyn Hill for organizing what she described as the baby shower of her dreams.
Just before their daughter arrived, Tay also gave fans a glimpse inside the nursery. Taylor reportedly called the finished room his favorite room in their home, making it clear just how eagerly the couple had been preparing for their baby.
Taylor and Tay first met in 2018 after the actor’s sister, Makena Moore, introduced them. They became engaged in 2021 and married on November 11, 2022, after several years together.
For Taylor, fatherhood marks a major new milestone beyond his years as one of Hollywood’s most recognizable young stars. The actor became internationally famous after playing Jacob Black in the Twilight films, but his life today is centered on something much more personal.
Now, the former teen heartthrob has a new title to add to his name: dad. And with little Lennon Taylor already affectionately known as Lenny, the Lautner family has officially begun a new chapter.
