Lera Kozhemyako is twenty-five years old. She is wife and mother. But there is something that sets her apart from the rest: her height is 109 cm.

Even when she was just born, the girl’s mother realized that something was wrong. It turned out that Lera has a rare genetic disease – she does not grow up like her peers.

But the Kozhemyako family was lucky. She was loved, cared for and given everything she could. But the rest of the world has not always been welcoming. Every day, she faced cruelty from others and various difficulties.

First, peers in childhood offended the girl because of her difference from others, although the difference was only in size.
Secondly, if at home everyone tried to take into account her height, then on the street, in various institutions, the girl is going through a very difficult time. Even a trip to the store can turn into a real test: imagine how difficult it is for her to access most products.

With such difficulties, Lera could be at least depressed, but no, she is an optimist, she tries to see the best in any situation, to help others as much as possible. And she took her specialness for granted and lives.

Fortunately, Kozhemyako was able to become happy in her personal life. She met on the Internet and after a few years of dating, the couple got married. Her husband has a third group disability.
Naturally, Lera wanted a child. Doctors warned her about the danger of childbirth, but the girl was not afraid. Now she and her husband are raising a daughter, who is 2.5 years old.
