A dad named Mark built a play fortress for his little ones in their backyard using very simple materials.
An experienced dad from Rochford, Essex, England has taken his craft skills to a whole new level. Mark Ely, 33, after searching the internet for a tree house for his little ones, realized that he could make it himself, while spending a very small budget on the construction.
As a result, Mark rolled up his sleeves and in just 3 days built an incredible play fortress complete with tower, swing and climbing wall.
Mark said that due to quarantine he had a lot of free time and his daughter Bella still wanted a tree house. “I looked online and the swings, ladders and slide cost over £2,000 and I knew I could do it myself,” the loving dad said.
Luckily Mark has his own scaffolding business so he was able to use whatever materials he had on hand. “The only things I had to buy were wood chips, swings, slides, climbing stones and paint,” he added.
In general, Mark, to build his plan, spent 8 hours a day, devoting the entire 3 days to construction.
