Royal Scandal? Meghan Markle Faces Claims of Allegedly Stealing Nearly $2,000 Worth of Goods.

Prince Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle, who recently opened up about her relationship with her husband, has been accused of stealing items worth nearly $2,000. The Duchess of Sussex has already responded to the allegations. Lux shares the full details.

According to reports, Meghan was accused of taking a Galvan “Ushuaia” designer dress valued at $1,700 from a 2022 photoshoot without permission. Recently, Markle appeared in the same green off-shoulder dress in a promotional clip for the holiday episode of her Netflix series “Heart of Meghan: The Celebration.” This is the very dress she wore during the Variety photoshoot in 2022, which sparked online speculation that she may have kept it without authorization.

A representative for the Duchess told People magazine: “The suggestion that any items were taken without the full knowledge and consent of the stylists on set or their respective teams is not only categorically false but also highly defamatory. Any items were kept with full transparency and in accordance with agreed-upon arrangements.”

According to media sources, it is common for celebrities to retain certain items from photoshoots—sometimes for security reasons, particularly to prevent potential resale or unauthorized auctions. Outfits worn by members of the royal family and other public figures have in the past often become targets for resale.
