Journalist Lauren Sánchez, who married billionaire Jeff Bezos in June this year, is suing her brother, Michael Sánchez, over intimate photos with her husband.
It has been revealed that the lawsuit involves $190,000 in legal fees. Allegedly, Michael “leaked” private messages and nude photos of the couple to the National Enquirer. The legal battle has been ongoing for four years. In response, Michael filed a countersuit against the couple for defamation. He denies all accusations.
The current dispute focuses on recovering legal costs after the initial defamation claim was dismissed in Michael’s favor, along with other claims against the couple.
This isn’t the first time Bezos and Sánchez have sought to recover legal expenses from Michael in this case. Back in 2021, the court ordered him to pay more than $218,000 in attorney fees. However, the battle continues, with the latest demand for new payments coming just weeks after the couple’s lavish $50 million wedding in Venice.
