If you like spacious kitchen, where two people can cook together, than this is for you!! The owners renovated the kitchen and they combined it with the dining room. The result is amazing.
BEFORE
The new owners of the apartment received a good renovation from the 1990s with the same beige wallpaper and dark furniture in the kitchen. This kitchen violated the historical layout: it occupied a space intended for a bathroom with a window. And in such a kitchen it would be inconvenient for two people to cook – something the new owners really like to do.
AFTER
The apartment was partially restored to its historical layout: a bathroom was installed in place of the 90s kitchen. And the kitchen “moved” to a small niche and became part of the spacious kitchen-living-dining room. The owners love to cook together, and although the dimensions of the updated kitchen are small, it is now much more convenient for two people to be in it. And thanks to the island, there is enough work space for simultaneous cooking.
To visually lighten the kitchen, the set was ordered without upper cabinets – instead, white tiles were laid all the way to the ceiling.
The dark gray color of the facades “pushes” the kitchen forward, and the neutral panels support the geometricity and dynamics of the tiles on the backsplash.
The aesthetics of classic facades is supported by a display case for dishes – it was installed in an arch with an accent scarlet backdrop. The living room has the same closet – but for books and decor (classics love symmetry).
