This Morning I Noticed a Pinkish Blob on My Wall—and What I Discovered Sent Chills Down My Spine 😱🏚️
I woke up like any other day and headed to the kitchen to make some coffee ☕—but then I froze in place. On the wall between the kitchen and the living room, I noticed something strange. A pinkish, fleshy-looking substance was seeping through a crack in the wall. It looked creepy… almost alive 😨.
Since I’m renting this apartment, I immediately called my landlord. To his credit, he arrived within 30 minutes. But when he saw the strange mass, his reaction was… off. He glanced at it, shrugged, and muttered calmly:
— “Oh, that’s just some old insulation foam. Nothing to worry about.”

He put on gloves, wiped some of it away with a tissue, and left—almost in a hurry. Something about his tone and body language didn’t sit right with me. It felt like he was hiding something 🤔.
After he left, I couldn’t shake the feeling that something wasn’t right. So I grabbed a flashlight, put on gloves, and gently probed the crack in the wall with a knife.

And that’s when I saw it… Something was moving inside the wall 😱😱. A faint, unpleasant smell started leaking out. My heart raced.
I took a photo and sent it to a friend of mine who’s a biologist. A couple of hours later, he called me back—his voice low and serious.

He said it looked like some kind of fungal colony with mycelium, possibly even parasitic insects using the warmth and sealant of the wall as a habitat. Something that could grow for years unnoticed—especially in damp or poorly ventilated areas. Worse, he warned that it could be hazardous to health, particularly to the lungs 🧫🫁.
I didn’t wait a second longer. I packed my bags and moved out that same day. Since then, my landlord hasn’t answered a single call 📵.
And now I can’t stop thinking: what if it wasn’t just fungus? Why was he so quick to erase the evidence? Why didn’t he want to investigate further?
I’m honestly scared… What if there’s something hidden in that wall that I was never meant to see? 😨🔍
