Demi Moore, the American actress and film producer, was born 62 years ago as Demi Gene Guynes in Roswell, New Mexico. She is divorced and has three children. Throughout her life, Demi has been married to two famous actors, Bruce Willis and Ashton Kutcher.
At 16, Demi dropped out of high school to work as a receptionist, and two years later, she joined a modeling agency and started taking drama classes. She made her film debut in 1981 with a small role in *Choices*, followed by a part in the sci-fi horror film *Parasites* the following year. She then appeared in the popular soap opera *General Hospital*.
Her big career break came in 1985 when she starred in *St. Elmo’s Fire* alongside Rob Lowe and Emilio Estevez. Throughout the late 1980s, she appeared in several more films, but her career skyrocketed in 1990 with her role as Molly Jensen in *Ghost*, alongside Patrick Swayze and Whoopi Goldberg. This film cemented her global fame and opened doors for even bigger roles. By the mid-90s, she starred in hits like *A Few Good Men*, *Indecent Proposal*, and *Disclosure*. However, towards the end of the decade, some of her film projects did not achieve the expected success, leading to a lull in her career.

After taking a three-year break to focus on raising her daughters, Demi returned to the screen in 2003 with a role in *Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle*. Since then, she has appeared in over 20 films and 6 TV series, directed a short film and a made-for-TV movie, and is set to star in an upcoming horror film and an anthology series. In 2019, she also released a memoir.
