Four-month-old Leopold Wilbur Reppond from Seattle was born with oculocutaneous albinism, a condition that severely limits his vision. Until recently, Leo had never truly seen his parents—he recognized his father by the feel of his beard and his mother by the touch of her skin.
That all changed thanks to a specially designed pair of infant glasses from Miraflex. In a touching video, Leo’s mother, Erin, gently places the glasses on his face. As he blinks and looks around, something clearly shifts—and when his eyes meet his mom’s for the very first time, his reaction is pure joy.
“I was completely overcome with emotion. It was just so moving,” Erin shared.
