Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s middle child appeared to reveal a new name during a memorial service on Saturday for Garner’s father, William Garner.
At the event, the 15-year-old introduced themselves as Fin.
The teen, previously known as Seraphina Rose, wore a suit and tie with a chin-length haircut.
Introducing themselves as Fin Affleck, they read Proverbs 16:8 during the service.
Before the memorial, which took place in West Virginia, Fin had been seen sporting a pink haircut while spending time with their 16-year-old stepsister, Emme — Jennifer Lopez’s child.
Jennifer Garner had announced her father’s passing over Easter weekend in an emotional Instagram post:
“My dad passed peacefully Saturday afternoon. We were with him, singing ‘Amazing Grace’ as he left us (whether we carried him across or scared him away is anyone’s guess). While there is no tragedy in the death of an 85-year-old man who lived a healthy, wonderful life, grief is inevitable and sneaks up unexpectedly.”
The actress thanked Charleston Medical Center and City of Hope for extending her father’s life and allowing him to spend his final moments “in his favorite places — surrounded by daughters and grandchildren, cheering for his beloved Aggies, steering his boat, and most importantly, beside our mom, his wife of 59 years.”
Fin Affleck is the middle child of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner. They have an older sister, Violet Anne, 18, and a younger brother, Samuel, 12.
