Carrie Johnson, wife of the former UK Prime Minister, shared the joyful news on her Instagram photo blog: on May 21st, the couple welcomed a baby girl named Poppy Eliza Josephine Johnson.
The couple already has three children together — Wilfred, Romy, and Frank — who are all growing up fast.
“Welcome to the world, Poppy Eliza Josephine Johnson, born May 21. Or just Pops, Pop Tart. I can’t believe how tiny and beautiful you are. We are so happy! Everyone is absolutely smitten with you,” Carrie wrote lovingly.
She added that their older kids — especially Romy — are thrilled to have a new baby sister.
“Another little member of our gang is finally here. We’re back home now, and tonight it’s all about pizza, cocktails, and a tiny bundle of joy asleep in my lap. Can life get any better?” she shared.
This is the fourth child for Boris and Carrie together. For 60-year-old Boris Johnson, Poppy is his ninth child overall.
