This happened in 2005, when Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt visited an orphanage in Ethiopia. The six-month-old baby, suffering from malnutrition and dehydration, stood out from the other orphans. Big brown eyes piercing the heart did not leave the couple indifferent. The girl was adopted and named Zahara, which means “flower” in Swahili.
The little “flower” quickly grew stronger and grew briskly under the warm rays of parental love. The baby not only had loving parents, but also an older brother Maddox, who was adopted by Jolie and Pitt in Cambodia three years earlier. And soon the couple had their first child, baby Shiloh. Since then, Zahara has been performing the duties of an older sister.
