Tensions within the royal family may be behind Queen Camilla’s increasingly strained relationship with Princess Kate. The past year has been particularly stressful: King Charles’s serious health issues, ongoing turmoil involving Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and Kate’s own health struggles have forced Camilla to take on more public duties than usual.
The final straw for the Queen may have been the recent death of her beloved dog, which reportedly pushed her into regular whiskey drinking. After a few drinks, Camilla has allegedly become difficult to deal with—often speaking harshly and losing her usual filter.
Sources claim that Camilla’s behavior may also be fueled by jealousy over Kate’s immense popularity and constant media attention, which visibly irritates the older royal. After one particularly offensive comment, Prince William reportedly warned his stepmother that if she made another remark like it, he would ban her from seeing the children and cut off any contact between them and their grandfather.
