The grand 73rd Miss Universe 2024 pageant has come to a close in Mexico, where contestants from 130 countries competed for the coveted title.

This year, the crown went to 21-year-old Victoria Kier Tejlwig from Denmark, who made history by winning the prestigious title for her country for the first time. A rising entrepreneur, budding lawyer, and passionate dancer, Victoria became the true sensation of the competition. Interestingly, she is the first blonde in recent years to win the Miss Universe crown. The tiara was placed on her head by the current titleholder, Shennis Palacios from Nicaragua, amid loud applause from the audience.

The first runner-up was Nigeria’s Chidimma Adetshina, while the second place went to Maria Fernanda Beltran from Mexico. The honorary third spot was awarded to Sukhati Chuangsri from Thailand, and fourth place went to Ileani Marquez from Venezuela.
