To mark the occasion, she decided to make waffles for breakfast for her children in the traditional green color of the holiday. In the video, Meghan can be seen whisking fresh green batter in a bowl and then pouring it into a waffle iron. Markle used a Belgian waffle maker, the Cuisinart Waring Pro WMK200, which divides each waffle into four parts. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex protect their children from public attention and do not show their faces, but the video captured Archie and Lilibet’s hands as they reached for the waffles their mother made. “For the kids and us! Happy St. Patrick’s Day!” Meghan wrote.
However, keen-eyed viewers noticed a difference between the waffles on the children’s plates and the ones Meghan had prepared. The waffles were round, flatter, and lacked the raised edges from the waffle iron. The texture was even different. Meghan decorated them with strawberries, blueberries, kiwi slices, and a “fluffy” whipped cream hairstyle.
Bloggers speculated that the waffles didn’t turn out as expected, so Meghan either ordered them from a nearby restaurant, bought ready-made ones from the supermarket’s deli section, or used frozen pre-made waffles.

Additionally, they argued that the actress, known for her role in Suits, likely has several waffle molds in her kitchen, and the video only showed one of them.
