“I used to get sideways glances from people. They pointed at me and whispered behind my back. One day, my neighbor bluntly told me that no man would ever look my way because I probably wouldn’t be able to become a mother,” Tammy Slaton shared. This harsh remark from her neighbor prompted her to seriously reevaluate her life. “Julia’s words were a turning point in my transformation journey. It felt like a wake-up call,” she said.
Tammy underwent complex surgery. Weighing 700 pounds, she summoned all her willpower to lose 440 pounds, leaving her family and friends amazed by her remarkable transformation.
“Wow, incredible,” “She looks amazing,” “This is nothing short of a miracle,” “I’m so proud of you,” “A true inspiration,” “What a smart woman,” “I’m filled with pride for you,” “I’m absolutely blown away,” were just a few of the positive comments on her photos. However, there were also some less encouraging remarks: “Why eat so much in the first place? You could’ve avoided all this,” “Should’ve cut out the fast food,” “Sure, she looks better now, but she never should’ve let it get that bad.”
