Molly’s life had been filled with challenges, and her main focus was always on her son, Tommy. Constantly moving from town to town and changing schools had taken a toll on him. He began acting out, picking fights, and bullying other kids. Molly never expected that a phone call from the school principal would bring back memories of a past she thought was long gone.
At home, tensions with her husband Nigel were escalating. He never treated Tommy as his own, often referring to him as “your son.” One evening, Nigel snapped, saying, “Why can’t you get your son to behave?” Molly was deeply hurt by Nigel’s rejection of Tommy, despite their years together.
The next day, Molly went to the school to address Tommy’s behavior, only to be stunned when she saw her ex-boyfriend, Christian, standing next to the principal. Christian, who had long since broken up with Tommy, said, “I see myself in him. I want to make things right because I made a mistake.”

Though Molly didn’t know how to process his sudden reappearance, she knew something had to change. That evening, after another argument with Nigel, she came home to find him unconscious, holding a bottle of alcohol.
Finally, Molly made a decision. “We’re going somewhere better, Tommy,” she said, packing their bags and waking him up. “Somewhere our love will be felt.”
For the first time in years, Molly felt a spark of hope as they walked out of the apartment, ready to start anew.
