Princess Eugenie has clearly drawn a firm and uncompromising line with her disgraced father, Andrew. She refuses to speak to him.
Eugenie and her sister sent a powerful, singular signal of solidarity with the royal family when they decided to spend Christmas with them rather than with their parents. However, according to insiders, Eugenie and Beatrice take very different approaches in dealing with Andrew.
“Beatrice is trying to find a way to avoid cutting off her father while remaining close to the royal family,” insiders say.

In their view, Eugenie “doesn’t try to walk that line” and simply “does not speak to him at all.” Moreover, she despises her sister’s approach. Eugenie did not visit Andrew at Christmas, and he is reportedly “devastated” by the rift that has grown between him and his younger daughter.

In October, King Charles stripped him of his princely title, stating that “while he continues to deny the allegations against him,” the new measures “are considered necessary.” Eugenie’s stance toward her father makes sense, given that she is a co-founder of the Anti-Slavery Collective, a human rights organization dedicated to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking. Epstein died in prison awaiting trial on charges of human trafficking for sexual exploitation.
It is claimed that Eugenie is upset that Andrew never publicly apologized to Epstein’s victims. The disgraced former prince has until October of this year to vacate the Royal Lodge at Windsor, where he has lived for more than two decades. This will be a major move, and Eugenie is said to play little part in it.
Princess Eugenie’s firm stance highlights her commitment to her principles and the causes she believes in, even when it means severing ties with her own father. While her sister Beatrice seeks balance, Eugenie chooses clarity and conviction, sending a powerful message about accountability, family, and integrity in the shadow of scandal.
