The actress accepts her ex-husband’s illness without getting lost in false illusions. She has repeatedly said that in such situations one should not hold on to the past – it is important to use the opportunity to still be close to Bruce.
Bruce Willis’ condition continues to slowly deteriorate. Doctors initially warned his family that the disease was incurable. Let us recall that the “tough guy” was diagnosed with aphasia – a disorder of the speech centers – in early 2022. Since then, the actor’s large family has rallied to surround him with their love and care.
Bruce’s ex-wife Demi Moore regularly visits him and supports the artist’s current wife Emma Hemming in everything. Willis’ children also try to create and remember as many new bright moments with their father as possible. Therefore, the family spends all the holidays together, always taking lots of photos. The actor’s fans are calm for Bruce, as they understand that his loved ones will be a great support and encouragement for him until his last days.
Moore gave an interview to CNN the day before, in which told about Willis’ condition.

Demi said that she would not wish anyone to face a disease like Bruce’s.
“Considering all the circumstances, Bruce is in a pretty stable condition now. Of course, it’s very difficult to go through this,” the actress says.
At the same time, the star noted that the time she can still spend with her ex-husband is a real gift: “It’s a great loss, but there’s also great beauty and a gift to be taken out of it. It’s so important for anyone dealing with this to really embrace everything that’s happening. There’s so much love and joy that comes from that.”
Moore had previously spoken about the actor’s deteriorating condition at the Hamptons International Film Festival in October. She said that in such situations, one should never hold on to illusions — it’s important to understand what the illness of a loved one really is: “An illness is exactly what it is. And I think you have to really accept what it is. I always encourage people to just accept their loved ones as they are. And when you’re holding on to the past, trying to live in what was before, I think that’s a losing game.”

Emma shares this position. She has never tried to embellish or hide her husband’s condition from their daughters. Hemming specifically consulted psychologists to properly break the news to the girls that their dad would be gone in the coming years.
“They are growing up, and Bruce is getting worse as the years go by. I don’t try to shield them from that. I learned from our therapist that if kids ask questions, they are ready to know the answer. They know that dad is not going to get better,” the actor’s wife explained, adding that Mabel and Evelyn did not ask her how much longer their father could live.

Recently, new photos of Willis appeared on the Internet. In them, he was smilingly looking out of the window of a car driven by one of the bodyguards. Recently, Bruce has been increasingly noticed in the city. From time to time, the paparazzi even manage to take a photo of the star at moments when he communicates with ordinary passers-by.
In addition to his family, Willis is supported by his friends. He was seen several times having coffee with a friend. Internet users support the position of the artist’s relatives – not to lock him within four walls, despite his serious illness. Many are sure that such small joys, like meetings with friends, prolong Bruce’s life.
