After their children grew up and started families of their own, the couple decided to downsize and move into a cozy, simple tiny home. Their son lives just half a mile away, while their daughter resides in Kentucky, a 10-hour drive that they make in their RV when visiting her.

Their tiny home, built by Liberation Tiny Homes, is situated in Tiny Estates Village in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, offering a peaceful view of a pond—perfect for relaxation and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
Before the couple purchased it, the house had been rented out on Airbnb for about two years. Measuring 28 feet by 8.5 feet, Bonny and Ty are very happy with their decision to embrace tiny living.

The interior features a rustic, farmhouse style, which perfectly suits the couple’s love for a cozy, country aesthetic. The living area includes two chairs, providing a comfortable space to unwind.
Next to the living room is a small dining area with a wall-mounted side table, which cleverly folds away with a bench that tucks beneath it when not in use. At the far end of the home is the bathroom, separated by a space-saving sliding door. It contains all the necessary amenities: a toilet, shower, and a small sink.

The sleeping loft, located above the kitchen and bathroom area, features a queen-size bed, remote-controlled lighting, and windows on either side for a refreshing cross-breeze.
Although Ty, who is six feet tall, initially struggled with the low ceiling in the loft, both he and Bonny have now adjusted to the compact space and thoroughly enjoy the peaceful, minimalist lifestyle their tiny home offers.

Living in Tiny Estates has allowed them to embrace simplicity without compromising comfort, and they are now happily settled, savoring the quiet beauty of their new way of life.
