Last year, everyone was talking about a video in which Meghan Markle roughly pushed a woman away who wanted to stand for a photo next to Prince Harry. As it has recently been revealed, the scandalous story has continued.
The rejected woman was Dr. Sophie Choudhury, head of the charity “Sentebale,” founded by Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho.
After the incident, Harry asked her to release a public statement defending Meghan. The woman refused and received a harsh message from the British monarch with various accusations.
Representatives of the charity that they do indeed have a document supporting this claim. Sophie herself explained that Meghan shouldn’t have gone on stage in the first place, but did so, causing confusion.
“I said I wouldn’t. Not because I didn’t care about the Duchess, but because I knew what would happen if I did, firstly. And secondly, because we cannot be an extension of the Sussexes,” Choudhury commented.
The conflict between the two led to Harry leaving the charity when Choudhury refused to step down from her leadership role. Later, Sophie accused him of “misogynoir” – a prejudice against Black women.
