Divorce is always difficult, especially when the couple has children. The situation becomes more complicated when one of the partners finds a new love, and even more complicated if, for example, the ex-husband starts dating a younger woman.

When Jennifer, whose parents were divorced, was planning her wedding, she knew there would be problems with her family.
Her father recently met a young woman, the same age as his daughter. And as if that wasn’t enough, the new wife decided to make life difficult for her biological mother.
Jennifer’s wedding day was approaching, and nothing could spoil the bride’s joyful mood.

Jennifer’s mom found the perfect dress that looked great on her. Everything was going well. But a week later, Jennifer discovered that her father’s 25-year-old wife had bought the exact same dress as her mother’s…
This was unacceptable. So Jennifer asked her stepmother to buy something else, since her mother had bought this dress first. But the young woman refused.
“No way! I look great in this dress and I will wear it,” she replied. “Let your mother change the dress.”
Jennifer told her mother the bad news and expected her to be disappointed. But the woman reacted to the news surprisingly calmly.

“Don’t worry, honey. I’ll find you a new dress. It’s your day, and I won’t let her ruin it.”
A few days later, they went shopping to find another beautiful dress. Mom tried on almost a dozen dresses. Just before the store closed, she found the perfect replacement.
The bride’s mother bought a dress and then they went to dinner.
While they were waiting for the dish, Jennifer asked her mother, “When are you going to return the first dress? You don’t have much of an occasion to wear it anytime soon.”
The bride’s mother smiled and replied, “There is a reason! I will wear this dress to the dinner the night before your wedding.”

Jennifer couldn’t help but laugh at her mother’s perfect revenge.
