The story of James Lusted is an example of how love and self-control can overcome any obstacle. From childhood, James was not ashamed of his height.
On the contrary, he perceived it as his unique feature, which made him different from others. He always proudly declared that his height was his “highlight”.
In 2014, James met Chloe, a 5’7″ woman. Their relationship began in the summer of that year, and from their very first date, their life took an unusual turn.
When they first went out to dinner, the waiter, upon seeing them, immediately brought Chloe a menu. And James, who was 60 cm shorter than her, was offered a sketchbook and a set of pencils, mistaking him for a child.
Only later did the waiter realize his mistake and apologize to the couple.
Despite their significant height difference, James and Chloe not only became a couple, but also set a world record for the largest height difference between spouses – 60 cm. This achievement attracted the attention of the press and made their story even more inspiring.
In 2016, James and Chloe got married. Two years later, in 2018, they learned that they were expecting a new addition to their family. In February 2019, their daughter Olivia was born.
Despite James’s growth peculiarities, the girl was born absolutely healthy. And, most interestingly, her height was not inherited from her father, and most likely, she will catch up with him in height someday.
