Marios Giannakou, a Greek athlete with impressive achievements, has overcome human limits to achieve something extraordinary.
Accompanied by Eleftheria Tosiou, a young woman in a wheelchair but with a huge dream, he undertakes an epic climb, defying gravity and all expectations. Find out how, with courage and determination, he turns a girl’s dream into reality, redefining what it means to be a hero in the modern world.

One day, Marios met Eleftheria Tosiou, a 22-year-old biology student. Like the rest of us, she had a dream. Only her dream was to see the top of Mount Olympus. But there was a small complication: Eleftheria was in a wheelchair.
But you know what? Marios decided that nothing could stop her from reaching this peak. He told an interviewer: “For me, all the international competitions, medals and awards so far are nothing compared to this goal.”

So Marios did something no one would have thought possible. He literally carried Eleftheria on his back. With a support team of eight, they began their climb to Mytikas, the highest peak of Olympus.
Imagine carrying someone on your back while climbing a mountain. And it wasn’t a walk in the park. After reaching 2,400 meters, they stopped to rest – they certainly deserved it. But at 6 am the next day, they were on their way.

Finally, after more than 10 hours of hard work, they reached the top. It was 9:02 am At that moment, they were not only on top of Olympus, but also on top of the world.

Marios shared his achievement on Instagram: “Nothing is more real than a dream.”
