The premiere of Queen’s video “Keep Yourself Alive” took place the other day.
This is a promotional video made for the band’s very first single, released in 1973.
The footage was re-edited from the original material.
“Now updated with a stunning new mix of the song from 2024, this video was created by going back to the original sketches and creating a completely new edit. The footage was then painstakingly restored so it could be shared with fans in all its glory!” the press release states.
The release of the video is timed to coincide with the re-release of the British band’s debut album, Queen I, in the box set format, which includes 10 original tracks, as well as almost a hundred additional materials on six compact discs, as well as vinyl records and cassettes.
