As part of a new film addressing homelessness in England, Prince William shared previously unpublished photos from his first visit to the homeless shelter The Passage in 1993 with Princess Diana. At the time, William was 11 years old and his brother, Prince Harry, was 8. The previously unseen footage was featured in a promotional video for the documentary.
“I remember how well we talked, played chess, and interacted, and it was during that time that it struck me that there are other people who don’t have the same life as you do. You know, when you’re very young, you just think life is what you see in front of you, and you can’t even imagine looking beyond that,” the future King of the United Kingdom said.
