Recently, paparazzi managed to capture 20-year-old Pax Thien Jolie, Angelina Jolie’s adopted son, in public for the first time after a hiatus of over a month. This was not surprising, given that he had been recovering from an accident he was involved in on July 29. Initially, he was hospitalized and later continued his recovery at home.
Pax Thien was spotted while heading to lunch with his mother at a restaurant in Beverly Hills. The former wife of Brad Pitt looked impeccable as always—elegant but understated. She wore an all-light outfit: cream-colored pants and top, with a matching cardigan. Pax Thien, on the other hand, kept his outfit simple: a white sports t-shirt, a black vest, and matching pants. Notably, he had a bright lavender splint on his arm, likely used to treat a fracture sustained in the accident. The most intriguing detail of his outfit was a black bucket hat with the word “Miracle” in white, which translates to “Miracle” in English.
Seeing these photos, Angelina Jolie’s fans immediately concluded that the inscription was a “message” and interpreted its meaning. They speculated that it was a clear hint at how Pax Thien perceived the incident, considering that witnesses had said it seemed like he could have survived only by a miracle.
To recap, Pax Thien was injured when his electric motorcycle collided with a car. On that day, he was speeding on Los Feliz Boulevard near Jolie’s home in Los Angeles. He did not maintain a safe distance, so when the car in front of him stopped at a red light, his motorcycle crashed into the rear of the vehicle. As a result, Pax Thien, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown from the bike, landed head-first on the asphalt, and initially appeared lifeless. Witnesses even feared he had died, but by the time the ambulance arrived, he had regained consciousness.
However, he was taken to the intensive care unit, where he was treated for a head injury for over a week. It is currently unknown if there are any visible remnants of the injury, as Pax Thien’s head was completely covered by the aforementioned hat during his outing with his mother.
