😳The Spencer family residence in the British capital was sold just three days after being put on the market, where Princess Diana frequently stayed.💰

The residence at 24 Farm Street in Mayfair, which Diana frequently visited after her divorce from Prince Charles (King Charles III), was put up for sale at £10.95 million (1.37 billion rubles). According to representatives from the elite real estate agency Weatherell, the house was purchased in just three days.

This marks the fastest celebrity real estate sale since Emma Stone’s Spanish-style bungalow in Los Angeles sold in under two weeks. “For the first time in 22 years, the house on Farm Street was put on the market, and it was essentially sold in the first week,” stated agent Robert Dawson.

The Georgian-style mansion was built in the early 1980s and was bought by Diana’s father, John Spencer, in 1990 as a gift for his second wife, Countess Raine Spencer. Following the Count’s death from a heart attack in 1992, his widow inherited this home, along with a holiday estate in the seaside town of Bognor Regis on England’s southern coast.

The four-story London mansion features a cream-colored stucco facade and offers nearly 500 square meters of living space. It includes five bedrooms, an elevator to each floor, and a rooftop terrace. Notably, the interior design resembles “Althorp,” the Spencer family estate in Northamptonshire where the future princess spent her childhood. For instance, the dining room is adorned with the same red wallpaper and sparkling chandeliers.

The first floor includes a large reception hall, living room, and a grand library, which was a favorite spot of Diana’s father. There’s also a modern kitchen with a dining area that opens to a private courtyard. The second floor has two bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms and dressing rooms. The third floor features a separate guest suite with a bedroom, dressing room, bathroom, and access to a south-facing rooftop terrace.

Diana’s stepmother sold the mansion in the early 2000s to art collectors Alan and Mary Hobart. She moved back to a spacious apartment on Grosvenor Square, where she lived with Earl Spencer in the early years of their marriage. Raine is the only daughter of novelist Barbara Cartland, who was a well-known socialite and politician in Britain. Notably, the Cartland family home in Mayfair was listed for sale last year for $44 million, but this historic property has yet to find a buyer.
