Celine Dion took to the stage for the first time since her performance at the Paris Olympics in July 2024.
The 56-year-old singer made a surprise appearance at the Spirit of Life 2024 City of Hope Gala in Los Angeles. She dazzled in a black bodycon dress with mesh sleeves. Celine wore her hair in a strict bun and her eyes were heavily kohl-rimmed.
Dion presented the award to AEG Presents CEO Jay Marciano.
“This is my first time on stage since I went up that tower. And I kind of miss it,” Celine was quoted as saying by People .
Celine has not performed since 2020, when she began to suffer from cramps due to stiff muscle syndrome . For the same reason, she has reduced her public appearances to a minimum .
