In fact, the 28-year-old actress missed the big event, but her co-star Andrew Garfield apparently couldn’t get over it. So, to make sure he felt her presence, he brought a life-size cardboard cutout of Florence with him.
The 41-year-old Golden Globe winner carried a cardboard cutout of Pugh with him everywhere and even posed with it, People reports. The real Florence loved the idea. She posted about it on her social media page that same day.
“I’m really sorry I’m not with you, but I’m raising a glass from afar. Love you all,” she wrote. She also called Andrew’s joke genius and said he was a good guy.
