Parents are the ones who give us a start in this world, shaping our principles, views and helping us realize our ambitions. Regardless of our age, for them we will always remain their little ones. So I decided to please them by updating the kitchen.

Let’s take a closer look at the repair stages:
1. Removing the window between the kitchen and the toilet and replacing it with a brick wall (that’s how I tried myself in the role of a builder), as well as removing old wallpaper and tiles.

2. Installation of additional sockets and subsequent filling of the grooves.

3. The walls are leveled and plastered.

4. The space under the window refrigerator was arranged using a plastic door and plywood.

5. Linoleum was chosen as the flooring material, with fibreboard previously laid on the floor.

6. The final finishing included the installation of a suspended ceiling, wallpaper and baseboards.

7. The kitchen set has been installed.

Funny thing: there was no ventilation in the kitchen. The lack of a hood did not bother us at first, until we realized that something was missing.
8. Time to install curtains, an updated table and chairs that have been reupholstered to match the overall color palette.

The entire renovation took 2 weeks.

Thank you for your attention to my story! I will be grateful for your feedback and response.
