Back in late July, Lux told you that Lady Gaga let slip at the Paris Olympics that she referred to her partner as her fiancé. Now, Gaga is open about her wedding plans and is even happy to share how her beloved Michael Polansky proposed to her.

Gaga revealed that he did it right after her birthday. The couple went rock climbing, where it all happened. According to Gaga, she was dressed in a comfortable and safe outfit, so it wasn’t anything overly fancy or formal. At the same time, she emphasized that she loved everything Michael did.

“We went on a trip together, and we went rock climbing, which was a lot of fun. We reached the top, looked around, took some photos. Then we came back down to our room. And he actually – this was very Michael – he asked me if he could ask me something. He wanted to know if he could propose before actually proposing,” Gaga shared.

The singer mentioned that Polansky skipped the traditional moment of getting down on one knee. However, she pointed out that she is a modern woman and appreciated her partner’s proposal.

When asked why he didn’t do it at the top of the rock for added romance, Gaga replied that proposing at the bottom was practical and safe. The artist noted that the ring was in Polansky’s backpack. As for the wedding, Gaga suggested it would simply be a court marriage followed by a dinner with Chinese food.
