Following a destructive tornado that struck Clarksville, Tennessee, an incredible story of perseverance surfaced. Sadly, the tornado’s devastation of the Hol Park Mobile Home Community claimed the lives of three persons. In the middle of the chaos, a four-month-old infant called Lord had an incredible survival story to share.
Sydney Moore, Lord’s mother, talked about her horrifying tornado experience. She shielded her one-year-old son Princeton as her boyfriend raced to save Lord, who was in a bassinet.The tremendous intensity of the cyclone unexpectedly lifted the bassinet containing tiny Lord and sent it flying. It was almost incredible that the Lord survived in the bassinet despite being tossed around by the powerful storm.
After the tornado passed, Moore’s first worry was where her baby was among the rubble. The next thing they saw was quite astounding: Lord was seated behind a tree with his face badly injured. Moore thinks that considering the extent of Lord’s injuries, it is absolutely miraculous that he lived at all. The family had to navigate the damaged surroundings in order to get medical attention. Lord had fractured his shoulder in addition to his head and ear injuries. Near their home, a broken bassinet serves as a constant reminder of the family’s difficult journey and their perseverance.
