The singer, who has muscular rigidity syndrome, sang Edith Piaf’s “Hymne à l’Amour” while wearing a stunning gown that took over 1,000 hours to create.
The dress, embellished with sequins and 500 meters of fringe, had an elegant silk train that seemed to move with the singer. Designer Maria Grazia Chiuri aimed for a stunning effect, and she succeeded. Pictures of the dress being made have appeared online.
