Silas’s father, Justin, who also loves tennis, was not present that day. It seems Timberlake, caught up in a scandal, prefers to stay out of the public eye.
As a reminder, Timberlake is currently facing charges for drunk driving and traffic violations. He was arrested on June 18 this year and released on his own recognizance pending trial. The first hearing on his case took place in early August, where the judge decided to revoke the singer’s driving privileges. The next hearing is scheduled for September 13, as there were errors in the court documents that needed time to correct. Timberlake maintains his innocence, claiming he only had one “martini,” which is legal under state law.
However, the arresting officer reports that Timberlake was heavily intoxicated and refused a breathalyzer test. If found guilty, Timberlake is unlikely to face jail time, as this is his first offense of this kind. He is more likely to face a substantial fine.
