Tyra Banks’ return to the Victoria’s Secret Angels ranks was an event. The model did it for the first time in 19 years and can hardly hide her emotions.
Appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show , the 50-year-old supermodel said she felt great dusting off her wings after so many years. But she was still nervous because she had changed a little since leaving the modeling business.
“My boobs are 10 times bigger because I’m like 40 pounds heavier than I was before I quit. So I was like, ‘Don’t let them fall out, don’t let them fall out,'” Banks said.
The supermodel was the first in the brand’s history to wear those very “angel wings” back in 1998. And this happened just two years after the start of her modeling career. After that, the accessory became iconic for Victoria’s Secret and was featured at every show.
In 2005, the star decided to leave the world of fashion and went to conquer television and also achieved success as the host of the show “America’s Next Top Model”. In an interview before the show, Gigi Hadid admitted that she was delighted with the reality show and the host.
