Every Sunday, this barber walks the streets of the city with one mission: to give free haircuts to the poor😍 He addresses everyone with a simple but powerful phrase: “I want to do something nice for you today”💕 Every Sunday, he cuts up to six people’s hair, sharing the transformations on his Instagram😯 These photos don’t just show haircuts, they capture moments of newfound dignity and a radiant smile🥰 You definitely have to see these transformations
Mark’s journey with charity haircuts began in May 2012 in the Philippines. While visiting his family, he paid a local salon to cut the hair of underprivileged children.
It was such a unique experience that he decided to bring this positive idea back to New York City. Since then, he has expanded his work to places like Jamaica, Costa Rica, and Los Angeles.
One of the most touching stories involves Jim, a California man who was released from prison two weeks before Mark’s haircut.
Jim expressed a simple but profound truth: “Every human life has equal value. We all deserve a second chance.”
But it was the story of Jemar Banks that stayed with Mark. After Mark offered Jemar a haircut and food, he saw Jemar stand up with hope in his eyes.
The first question Jemar asked after seeing his new hairdo was, “Do you know anyone who is hiring new employees?” These are the moments that really touch the heart, aren’t they?
Mark doesn’t limit himself to haircuts in secluded places. He chooses public places like street corners and sidewalks so that passersby can observe this act of kindness.
This is not to draw attention to himself, but to inspire others to show compassion. He wants everyone to know that simple actions can make a big difference.
