Love stories of Alain Delon: why the famous actor could not listen to the song “Paroles, paroles, paroles” without tears

Discover the heartbreaking love story behind Alain Delon’s tears every time he heard ‘Paroles, Paroles.’ 💔🎶 What hides behind his emotions will leave you speechless.

Alain Delon loved women, and they reciprocated his feelings. Now, when France and the whole world are saying goodbye to the outstanding actor, we decided to remember those of his girlfriends who were with him for many years.

Romy Schneider . The 19-year-old Austrian actress and the 22-year-old French actor met on April 10, 1958 at Paris Orly airport. It was already known that they would star together in the melodrama “Christine,” and the producer forced Delon to meet his future partner with an armful of red roses under the guns of the cameras.

Their first impression of each other was disgusting.

Romy later wrote: “Too handsome, too carefully combed, too young a guy, dressed up like a gentleman.” I thought about the roses: what a vulgar thing, but this boy is just melancholy! And I just made him want to vomit – that’s how rudely he later expressed himself on this matter. A vain, sweet Viennese fool, without the slightest charm…”

However, she did not know French, and he did not know German. And Delon was also aware that Schneider, being at that time a much more famous actress, would receive 75 million francs for the role, and he would receive only 300 thousand, and this infuriated him.

They literally began to fight, “fighting so hard that only pieces flew.” But then one day we went together to an actors’ ball in Brussels, and on the train we started flirting. At the ball, Romy drank a huge glass of champagne and realized that she had fallen in love. After filming “Christine,” accompanying Delon from Vienna to Paris, she sobbed on the plane’s steps.

At the same time, Romy’s family was vehemently against this relationship: “they frightened me, whispered all sorts of obscene nonsense to drag me away from him”… But the romance lasted several years.

However, Alain cheated on her (“he was a young dog!”), quarreled with her and once left her. Through a long, long note left in the hotel room, the key phrase in which was “I’m leaving with Natalie for Mexico, all the best to you.”

Romy survived this, and then maintained friendly relations with Delon, filming with him. But, of course, this novel brought her a lot of pain.

Natalie Delon . The same Natalie with whom he went to Mexico was a starlet and model, her real name was Francine Canovas, and she acted under the pseudonym Nathalie Barthelemy (after marrying Delon, she would take his last name).

She was very similar to him in appearance – at first they were mistaken for brother and sister (and some said that Delon was so narcissistic that he married his reflection in the mirror). Then Natalie said: the marriage was poisoned by the fact that Delon endlessly remembered Romy Schneider, and it was obvious that his heart still belonged to his former lover.

And, of course, the fact that Alain was always having affairs with other women: either with the Austrian actress Marisa Mell, or with the American Ann-Margret. Four and a half years later, they divorced; the only memories left were their son Anthony and the film “Samurai”, where they played together.

Dalida . One of the most famous European singers of the 20th century; Delon knew her back in the 50s, when they lived next door in Paris and were friends (“we shared a lot – plans, hopes, even hard-boiled eggs!”) Then he met her in Rome in the 60s, when he was 28 years old, and she was 31 years old, and only then did a passionate but short romance flare up.

Already in the 70s, they recorded the super hit “Paroles, paroles” together. And in May 1987, Dalida committed suicide. Delon very much regretted that he had not called her and dissuaded her from this step (but how could he have known that she was going to commit suicide?)

In 2019, during a television interview, they played a recording of “Paroles, paroles,” and Delon almost burst into tears: “I’m so sad to listen to this song again, I loved this woman terribly…”

Mireille Dark . The blonde beauty who shocked Soviet (and not only) audiences in “The Tall Blonde in a Black Shoe” with her black dress, extremely closed in the front, but with a gigantic cutout in the back.

Their affair with Delon began on the set of the film “Jeff”, then they often played together, and lived together for 15 years. She guessed that Delon was not very faithful to her, but she turned a blind eye to it.

They broke up for another reason: Dark had a heart condition, doctors forbade her to even think about childbirth, and Delon really wanted a child. However, even after breaking up they remained close friends.

Rosalie van Bremen . The next children – Anushka and Alain-Fabien – were eventually born to Delona by this Dutch model, who lived with the actor for a decade and a half. And she took revenge on him for all the women’s tears: in the end, she herself was the first to leave him!

The actor, who by that time was over 65, took it extremely hard. And Rosalie connected her life first with one millionaire, the king of the French market of lenses and frames Alain Afflelou, then with another – banker Roberto Agostinelli.

Now, according to information from her official website, she is sitting on the island of Sylt in Germany, leisurely writing a novel (yes, she is a writer!)
