The couple made their relationship public at the Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles, after which rare glimpses of the 26-year-old actress with her new beau started appearing on social media.
The occasion for sharing a new photo was Gus’s birthday.
On her boyfriend’s 34th birthday, Elle posted a couple of photos from their recent tropical vacation. In one photo, Fanning poses with her partner, cheek to cheek, against a backdrop of white sand. In another, they are holding hands while sunbathing on lounge chairs. Elle captioned the post, “Happy birthday, angel,” and recently wrapped up filming a new biopic about Bob Dylan with Timothée Chalamet.
It’s worth noting that before her romance with Gus Wenner, Elle was in a long-term relationship with Max Minghella. They met on the set of the film “Teen Spirit” and kept their feelings hidden from the public for a long time. Rumors suggested they were heading towards marriage, and Elle had even mentioned her desire for a large family. However, Max was slow to take that decisive step, and their five-year relationship ended in a breakup. In spring 2023, Elle stated that she was open to new romantic interests.
