Budget renovation of a small kitchen of 5 sq.m. Made with soul

Discover how to renovate a compact 5 sq. m kitchen with a limited budget while infusing it with warmth and personality. YOu will be shocked when you see the before-after photos

Economical renovation is exactly what is needed for those who want to update their interior without making major financial investments. There is no need to spend huge sums on expensive furniture and the latest technology to create a stylish and cozy space in your home. The ability to carry out repairs yourself adds not only cost savings, but also personal uniqueness to the appearance of the apartment. An example is a kitchen with an area of only 5 square meters, which the owners were able to transform without resorting to expensive solutions.

Before the renovation: routine and the need for updating
Before the renovation, the kitchen looked quite ordinary and required refreshment, despite its acceptable condition. Orange wallpaper, outdated furniture and linoleum significantly reduced the overall impression of the room.
Renovation work: space conservation and budget solutions
Given the budgetary nature of the renovation, no changes to the layout were expected, which saved significant money and effort. The only exception was the dismantling of the mezzanine, which visually increased the height of the ceiling in the corridor.

The peculiarity of the apartment was that it was prepared for sale, excluding from the package some necessary equipment, for example, a refrigerator. Future owners are given the opportunity to independently select and arrange it.

Furniture and linoleum for the kitchen were purchased from affordable stores such as Leroy Merlin and IKEA. After removing the old wallpaper, the walls were leveled and painted in gray and white tones, which visually refreshed the room and added spaciousness to it.

Despite the standard design of the kitchen set, it looks modern and light, without weighing down the space. The absence of built-in appliances and hoods makes the interior more airy, and the choice of appliances is left to the new owners.

Dining area: warm accents
To dilute the severity of the gray and white interior, the dining area is decorated in warm colors. A light wood table and bright yellow chairs bring coziness and warmth into the atmosphere, like the rays of the sun.

New owners receive a kitchen that can serve as either a temporary solution or a permanent place to eat. Options for further changes remain open, leaving room for creativity and individual preferences.
