In the past, Val Kilmer was a well-liked public personality who gained notoriety by playing memorable parts in films. His stunning appearance and innate charisma won the hearts of millions of women, earning him the title of “Hollywood’s leading heartthrob.”
But as time went on, part of his charm faded. Much to his fans’ dismay, Val Kilmer did, at one point, become obsessed with cosmetic operations.
But later on, worse problems surfaced. The actor disguised his health issues and delayed disclosing the full extent of his illness for a considerable amount of time. The public did, however, see his physical metamorphosis.
Eventually, it was discovered that Val Kilmer was suffering from throat cancer. He lost his voice, had many operations, and underwent complex and prolonged therapies. It should come as no surprise that these struggles affected his looks.
Looking at the thin man now, it’s hard to believe he’s just 64 years old. Fortunately, despite these obstacles, he is still able to converse thanks to current technologies.
