Italian fashion designer Donatella Versace comes from a huge family. Her mother, who served rich clients, inspired her to take up sewing when she was 68 years old.
She moved to Milan in the late 1970s to live with her elder brother Giovanni, who was starting to make a name for himself as a fashion designer. Donatella later became the company’s director and lead designer after his ascent to prominence.
In 2002, Donatella decided to undergo cosmetic surgery, a move that generated debate over the way she looked. Before these operations, she was regarded as pretty by most. Her first options were a circle facelift and Botox lip augmentation.
Donatella has been transparent about the reasons for her surgery, indicating that she wanted to create a barrier that would shield her from prying eyes. Additional surgeries included rhinoplasty, the result of which appears less than perfect in the images. Donatella had always wanted her nasal bridge corrected, but the first results were fading and left her tip drooping.

Even with these changes, Donatella is still well-known and frequently under the paparazzi’s scrutiny. She continues to be a style icon, wearing form-fitting clothes and high heels that accentuate her slim figure.
She decided to have breast augmentation as a personalized gift on her 60th birthday. Because of their daring aesthetic choices, Donatella and flamboyant singer Lady Gaga are now often compared.
