The heroine of our real story had to experience betrayal in very early childhood. Little Jennifer was born without both legs; her parents immediately abandoned the girl right in the maternity hospital. Jennifer was destined to spend her entire life in an orphanage, and then in a boarding school for people with special needs. However, fate smiled on her and there was a family who wanted to adopt the baby.
They tried to dissuade the adoptive parents, convincing them that Jennifer would never be able to sit up on her own, let alone move around, and would become a burden to her family. However, Jennifer’s case was yet another proof that love and care can work miracles. Unfortunately, the girl did not have the opportunity to use prosthetics. However, Jennifer grew up to be a surprisingly mobile and active child. Despite her peculiarity, she learned to sit independently and even move using her hands.
Jennifer even managed to play ball and other outdoor games with her peers. Hard to imagine? Certainly! And yet, the girl was distinguished by an incredible craving for activity and constant movement. Jennifer dreamed of doing aerial gymnastics. Perhaps someone would laugh at such a desire. However, the parents supported their daughter, and she was able to start classes, despite the lack of legs. Jennifer’s idol was a Romanian athlete named Dominica Moceanu. Jennifer always dreamed of becoming like her.
When the girl grew up, she decided to find out who her biological parents were. Imagine Jennifer’s surprise when, after investigation, it turned out that her real name is Moceanu, and Dominica is her sister! By that time, Jennifer’s biological father had already passed away, but the girl managed to meet her mother and brothers and sisters. It turned out that during his lifetime the father treated his wife and children poorly, and it was he who forced his wife to abandon the girl with special needs. The meeting of relatives was truly touching.
Today, Jennifer is the winner of several aerial gymnastics championships. She travels all over the world, continues to play her favorite sports, and also gives lectures, inspiring people with disabilities to achieve accomplishments, for whom she serves as a wonderful example.
