Eclecticism and interesting vintage.

Designer Alisa Kashtanova remade a “killed” three-ruble apartment in a Stalinist building: during the major renovation, they got rid of the old coverings, and there was also some redevelopment – the entrance to the kitchen was moved to the living room. For decoration, we took eclecticism as a basis: vintage and modern interior items coexist here.

During the transformation process, the interior partitions were preserved and strengthened with metal welded frames. There was space for a wardrobe in the bedroom. The kitchen is compact: the garbage disposal was dismantled, a corner set was installed, bright MDF facades were made to order.

There is deep-colored paint on the walls and ceiling, and custom-made tiles on the floor based on the owner’s sketches. The designer really wanted to emphasize the history of the house, so vintage items were added to the interior – antique chairs from the 20s, wall clocks and lamps from the 1960s from the subway.
