Milania Giudice is receiving professional support after an emotional incident at Tampa International Airport involving her mother, Teresa Giudice, and older sister, Gia Giudice.
The 20-year-old reality TV personality’s representative confirmed that Milania is currently surrounded by family and friends who are supporting her through an extremely difficult period in her life. The statement also comes shortly after a tense video from the airport surfaced online before being deleted.
“Milania is deeply loved by her family and friends,” her representative said, emphasizing that everyone close to her is doing everything possible to support her. The representative added that Milania is currently under the care of professionals who are working with both her and her family.
The situation at the airport unfolded Wednesday at Tampa International Airport, where Milania was traveling with Teresa, Gia and a counselor. Police were called after concerns arose during the family’s interaction, and Milania was briefly separated from the group.
A since-deleted video gave viewers a glimpse of the tense encounter. In the footage, police officers can be seen around the family as Milania repeatedly asks, “This is what we do now?” Teresa responds by telling her daughter that she loves her, while Gia attempts to calm the situation. Milania then becomes angry and tells them to “shut the f–k up” before the recording ends.
The incident report later provided additional context about what happened inside the airport. Police were told that Milania had recently been released from a hospital and had become separated from her counselor. She was located roughly 10 minutes after reportedly running through the terminal and was eventually escorted by officers to her gate.
No arrest or medical transport resulted from the airport incident.
Milania’s representative described this as an especially challenging period for the young woman, pointing in particular to the death of her close friend Victoria Zardoya. Victoria died in July at age 20, and Milania has previously spoken publicly about how deeply the loss affected her.
In an emotional tribute, Milania described Victoria as her best friend, sister, soulmate and partner in crime. She wrote about still expecting to see her friend’s name appear on her phone and struggling to accept that she was gone.
Her father, Joe Giudice, has also spoken about the difficult period his daughter is experiencing. He said the death of Victoria affected Milania “tremendously” and urged people not to judge his daughter based on a single moment captured on camera.
Joe emphasized that there is a real person behind what people see and read online. He said his priority as Milania’s father is making sure she knows she is loved and supported, adding that the family is doing everything possible to give her the support and space she needs.
The airport incident comes several months after Milania was arrested in New Jersey and charged with simple assault following a domestic dispute at her mother’s home. She later enrolled in anger management classes as the legal case continued.
For now, Milania’s family and representatives are asking for compassion and privacy as she works through this difficult chapter. Her representative said the focus is on her well-being and healing, while also noting that Milania hopes that, with time, speaking openly about her experiences could help other young people facing their own struggles.
