The legendary figure of French cinema, Alain Delon, has always enjoyed overwhelming popularity among his female admirers. It is difficult to say how many women there were in his life—both French women and those from other countries. All of them were in love with the screen idol and, of course, felt happy if the star granted them even the briefest attention.

The women Alain Delon loved gave him four children. He never officially recognized his eldest son, Christian, born to the German singer Nico Delon, as at the time he was in a relationship with actress Romy Schneider and did not want to end that relationship because of the child’s birth.
Surprisingly, Alain Delon’s parents supported the singer and took their grandson in to raise him, since Nico’s artistic life left her little opportunity to care for Christian herself. The boy was especially loved by his grandmother, Alain’s mother. He was a striking likeness of his father, and she had no doubt that her grandson was indeed Alain’s son.
Aron, Alain Delon’s eldest “official” son, chose photography as his profession and initially succeeded in it. He became a skilled professional, but excessive involvement with alcohol and drugs eventually ruined his career, and his work as a photographer faded into obscurity.
Another son, Anthony, was born to Delon by Nathalie Barthelémy. She was married to the actor for four years before they divorced following yet another affair on Alain’s part. Over time, Anthony also became an actor, following in the footsteps of his famous parents. Although he is not as renowned as his father, he enjoys success with audiences and remains in demand among modern directors.
Anna is Alain Delon’s only daughter. She was born to Dutch model Rosalie van Breemen. Anna was her father’s favorite—he devoted a great deal of time to her, and under his guidance, she took her first steps as an actress.
The actor’s youngest son is his namesake, Alain—also known as Fabien Delon. He, too, became an actor and, despite his young age—Fabien is only twenty-seven—has already achieved recognition in France.
While all of Delon’s children inherited their father’s talent, it would be impossible to ignore the fact that the famous Delon surname also played a significant role in their lives, serving as a kind of foundation that made it much easier for them to build their own paths.
