Is there anything that Guinness World Record holder Joel Strasser can’t hold in his beard? Apparently, yes—but that’s not entirely certain.
The American father of four has set a remarkable series of world records thanks to his long, thick beard. From toothpicks to golf tees, from forks to pencils—he has literally stuffed thousands of items into the hairs on his face, cementing his status as a beard legend.
Working in the insurance industry, he accidentally discovered the incredible “holding” power of his beard. “Food or little objects kept falling into it by accident, and I realized it holds things really well. That’s when I thought, why not try it intentionally?” Joel recalls. And try he did.
