The daughter of legendary Formula 1 driver Michael Schumacher, Gina, moved fans to tears with a childhood photo alongside her famous father. A few days ago, the racing icon celebrated his 57th birthday, and his family delighted fans by sharing an archival photo.
On her Instagram, Gina-Maria Schumacher posted a photograph showing her as a child with her father, her younger brother Mick, her mother Corinna, and their dogs.
“The very best, forever. Happy birthday, Dad!” Gina tenderly captioned the photo, adding a red heart emoji.
Gina’s followers and fans of her father couldn’t pass by this touching image without commenting. Many of them still hold on to hope for the racer’s recovery and possible return. Here’s what they wrote:

As a reminder, more than 10 years ago Formula 1 driver Michael Schumacher suffered a severe injury while skiing on vacation. Although his speed wasn’t very high, he flipped in the air during the fall and hit his head. Michael sustained a traumatic brain injury.
To this day, he has not appeared in public. Several years ago, it was reported that he was awaiting a new experimental procedure. The racer’s family shares very little about his condition, while fans around the world continue to hope every day to see him healthy and smiling again.
