The American Pie star and early-2000s fan favorite Tara Reid was reportedly taken away by an ambulance in what quickly turned into a public scandal.
The 50-year-old actress was hospitalized after being discovered in a highly disoriented condition at a hotel in Chicago. According to Reid, she lost consciousness because someone allegedly slipped sleeping pills into her wine without her knowledge. But witnesses at the scene claim that before medical help arrived, the actress was shouting, stumbling, and acting in a completely erratic manner.
“You don’t know who I am. I’m famous. I’m an actress,” she could be heard yelling, according to bystanders.
Police later confirmed they had received a call about a “sick person” and redirected it to emergency medical responders.
