Meet the Humanoid Robot That Just Broke a Wild Endurance Record — And Landed in the Guinness Book! (video)

In China, a humanoid robot has broken an endurance record — and the achievement was so impressive that it earned a place in the Guinness World Records.

According to reports, the Chinese humanoid robot walked an astonishing 106 kilometers between two eastern cities without stopping even once. Developed by the Shanghai-based company Agibot, the android known as A2 began its journey in Suzhou late at night on November 10 and reached the Shanghai waterfront early in the morning on November 13.

Powered by Agibot’s innovative rapid battery-swap system, the robot remained active and fully functional throughout the entire trek. “Walking from Suzhou to Shanghai is a challenge even for many people, yet the robot completed it successfully,” said Wang Chuan, Agibot’s Senior Vice President.

A2 was equipped with advanced sensors that allowed it to navigate a constantly changing environment with ease. Throughout its long journey, it handled everything from traffic lights and crowded sidewalks to bridges, ramps, and other unpredictable obstacles, demonstrating remarkable adaptability and stability.

When the robot finally reached its destination, it even spoke to journalists, sharing humorous reflections about its marathon-like trip. It described the walk as “an unforgettable experience in its machine life,” joking that it might now “need a new pair of shoes.”
